Privacy Policy
Effective date: 27 October 2026
1. Who we are
This policy explains how The Trustee for PC Trust (ABN 64 548 215 467), trading as Purposefully Aligned, Dingley Village VIC 3172 ("we", "us"), handles personal information in connection with the Reset Method programs, live sessions and online portal. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You can contact us at fabien@resetmethod.com.au or on 0421 118 107.
2. What we collect
We only collect what we need. This may include:
- your name, email address, phone number and location (state or country);
- account, purchase and payment details (card details are handled by Stripe, our payment processor, and we don't see or store your full card number);
- your answers to our safety questionnaire and any other information you choose to share about your physical or mental health;
- messages you send us, feedback and testimonials you agree to give;
- how you use the portal and our emails (for example, lessons completed and emails opened), and basic technical data such as browser type and cookies.
3. Health information and consent
Health information is "sensitive information" under the Privacy Act. We collect it only with your consent, mainly through the safety questionnaire, and only to check whether a program is safe and suitable for you and to support your safety during it. We don't use it for marketing or advertising, and only the people who need it to keep you safe can see it. You can choose not to answer a question, but if we don't have enough information to check that a program is safe for you, we may not be able to let you take part.
4. How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you buy a program, create an account, fill in a form or questionnaire, join a live session, or contact us. Some information is collected automatically when you use the portal or open our emails.
5. Why we collect and use it
We use your information to:
- provide the programs, portal and live sessions you've signed up for;
- check suitability and safety;
- process payments, refunds and guarantee requests;
- send you program updates and, if you've agreed, marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- answer questions and handle complaints;
- improve our programs; and
- meet our legal obligations.
6. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the programs, and only as needed:
- Kajabi (portal, course hosting, checkout and our emails);
- Zoom (live virtual sessions);
- Stripe (payments);
- our email provider (currently Kajabi's built-in email; if we change provider, we'll update this policy).
We may also share information if the law requires it, or if we reasonably believe it's necessary to lessen or prevent a serious threat to someone's life, health or safety (for example, contacting emergency services).
7. Overseas storage
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. Kajabi (United States), Stripe (United States and other countries where it operates) and Zoom (United States) may store or process your information overseas. We take reasonable steps to choose providers with appropriate security and privacy protections.
8. Live sessions
Live sessions are held on Zoom and are recorded. We only use recordings, or any other material that could identify you, outside the session with your permission. We ask everyone in a session to keep what others share confidential.
9. Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls and two-factor authentication on our accounts. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.
10. Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing fabien@resetmethod.com.au. We'll respond within 30 days. If we can't give you access or make a change, we'll tell you why in writing.
11. Complaints
If you're concerned about how we've handled your information, please email us first and we'll aim to respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):
- Website: www.oaic.gov.au
- Phone: 1300 363 992
- Post: GPO Box 5288, Sydney NSW 2001
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on our website, with its effective date.
